Jeffrey Sachs, Director of the Earth Institute at Columbia and noted economist, takes two Bloomberg anchors a bit by surprise in this interview on the federal budget. His ideas are signficant. In recent years Sachs has made a substantial contribution to the worldwide discussion of global poverty and disease.
